WALTHAM™ and BUCKEYE® Equine Research Grant

BUCKEYE Nutrition, The Experts in Equine Nutrition and WALTHAM™, a world’s leading authority in pet care and nutrition, have teamed up to offer the WALTHAM™ and BUCKEYE® Equine Research Grants. A total fund of $20,000 is available per annum, which can be awarded to one project or split between several.  These grants help to fund a clearly defined piece of original research into the nutrition, health, behavior or welfare of horses with the intention of publishing the findings in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, so that horses around the world may benefit.

All applications are evaluated by a team of scientists to ensure each complies with our ethical principles, the science is of a high standard and the research will increase collective knowledge of and benefit the care or well-being of all horses.  We encourage researchers to share the results of WALTHAM Foundation studies as broadly as possible through appropriate conferences and symposia, driving forward our vision to create a better world for pets and horses.

Applications for 2016 have now closed.
