First UK ESVCN Congress

WALTHAM to co-organise the first European Society of Veterinary & Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) Congress in the UK

In September 2017, in partnership with the Royal Agricultural University (RAU), we welcome one of the largest animal nutrition conferences to the scenic RAU campus in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

The congress is the main annual forum for animal nutrition scientists to share their latest research. Insights spanning zoo and farm animals through to clinical cases and, of course, pet nutrition will be showcased alongside presentations from distinguished guest speakers.

Dr Pat Harris, Director of Equine Studies at WALTHAM, was elected President of the ESVCN this year. It is her vision to provide a fun, lively and engaging congress with high quality science that allows researchers from across the globe to meet and discuss the most recent findings.

WALTHAM is again supporting students in pet nutrition research. The winner of the best student podium presentation will receive $5,000 to travel to the 2018 American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (AAVN) congress in the US. To find out more, visit the Congress webpage

Abstract submission for congress is now open. Deadline for submission is Friday 31 March. Take advantage of the discounted registration rates available now until Saturday 1 July.
