American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (AAVN)/WALTHAM Grants & Awards

WALTHAM and the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (AAVN) are delighted to announce the 2012 initiative to promote research into the health and nutrition of dogs and cats.

The 2012 AAVN/WALTHAM Student Nutrition Research Award
The AAVN scientific committee at the AAVN Congress will choose the best research project presentation and the recipient will receive a cash prize and trip to the ESVCN meeting in Europe to share their research.  

Who is eligible?
   
Students, residents, PhD candidates working towards a degree or board certification in the field of dog and cat nutrition presenting their results at the AAVN Conference.

European College of Veterinary Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN)/WALTHAM Grants & Awards

WALTHAM and the European Society of Veterinary & Comparative Nutrition (ESCVN) are delighted to announce the 2012 initiative to promote research into the health and nutrition of dogs and cats.

Comparative Gastroenterology Society

Since 2006, WALTHAM and CGS have partnered to promote high quality research in gastroenterology by providing up to $8,000 for the CGS WALTHAM Research Award which is an annual competitive grant chosen by CGS members and complying with Waltham’s ethical principles.

WALTHAM has proudly sponsored the SVME WALTHAM Student essay contest since 2005, offering a $1,000.00 cash award and another $1,000.00 for travel expenses for the contest winner to attend the annual conference of the American Veterinary Medical Association annually where she/he will present the winning essay at the SVME Plenary Session.
